Had side by side with Naked and Famous and prefer this one, the three alcohols work together better with a sweet agave taste in the front and a smoky bitter citrus mix in the aftertaste.

Depends highly on the mezcal I think. Should be as smokey as possible. Tried it with Del Maguey Vida Classic and thought it was a bit lackluster. Think this needs balancing. More dilution + upping the mezcal does work well for me.

Made it with Ojo de Tigre, it is delicious, refreshing and well balanced, but I think it would be event better with more smokiness so consider adding 1/2 mezcal or swapping for a smokier one.

Tried this with a super smoky Mezcal, didn’t work as well, preferred it with 400 Conejos which is much more subtle

Oh yeah, this is good. Love the smoky Mezcal combining with the Aperol and the Maraschino, which on paper shouldn’t work but it does. Some of the variations below sound interesting so I’ll be trying them.

All of Hall of Fame 3/291. It's...nice. It's fine. It's an inferior last of the oaxacans as a herbal mezcal sour and an inferior paper plane as an aperol sour, but it's fine.

I used Leopold Bros Aperitivo as I love that bitterness. Worked great here.
