Should be a 5* cocktail. A brilliant cocktail by Tom Walker. It's no wonder that it won Legacy. The balance is spot on. A truly verdant flavour profile with the spirit of the absinthe rinse, the brightness of the mint and the freshness of the cucumber all paired with a balanced Daiquiri.

Agreed! I've bumped to 5*. Thanks, Chris.

Tried this after a Difford's Daiquiri - its quite nice and on a hot summers afternoon I think I would appreciate it more.
But, with only one thin slice of cucumber. The two thin slices I used I found overwhelmed the drink.
I rather liked the discarded (seriously that will never happen) absinthe side drink.

Refreshing perfection! But I shall cheat and pour the swirled absinthe into a shot glass, add a pinch of sugar and a splash of ice water, and call it the appetizer.

Absolutely no freaking way I'm doing all that, Ima spritz that thing and call it a day.

This is surprisingly elegant. Shame that my bottle of absinthe may go down the drain...

What an outstanding, cooling summertime cocktail. It would be perfect any time of the day. The mint, absinthe, and cucumber add herbal tastes that are well balanced. The lime juice gives it a nice citrus edge.
This would be perfect at a brunch or on a warm afternoon.
