Hello Simon. In our market we can't get a hold of any of the Jamaican-style overproof aged pot-still rums featured on your webpage. But we can get, and use, Worthy Park Estate Rum-Bar white overproof pot-still Jamaican rum. Do you know that one and, if so, is it within category? Cheers

This cocktail calls for an overproof aged pot still rum. From Worthy Park, their Worthy Park 109 proof looks more fitting, but I've not tried.

Really amazing - your rum is central to the success of this cocktail. I used Smith and Cross (which is linked to Hampden) and the funky rum notes are displayed to fantastic effect! IMO, the other ingredients act to soften, sweeten and add some fruit to the rum - complementing the flavor while allowing the funkiness to come through. This is an exceptional cocktail for someone who really likes their Jamaican rum!

A top 5 favorite recipe from this site so far, and the best use that I've found for Byrrh.
