I tried it with 10ml of lime. I'm used to using lime in stronger spirits like spiced rum, so it didn’t bother me. The Triple Sec hits up front, and the lime fades alongside the whiskey. Only the vermouth seemed a bit dull to me. If you’re using a large rocks glass, it might be worth increasing the vermouth to 20ml.

A good balance between the lime and the whisky.

This is a fantastic night cap which let's the whisky shine and wraps it in a nice package. In my opinion, a better cocktail then the Churchill, as I made both and compared them with my family.

This is better with double the lime juice and some simple syrup

Amazing evening cocktail. Using the 5 ml of lime allowed for the whisky to shine. Hint of smoky, but very refreshing and settling after a nice supper.

I have tried this cocktail with both 5 ml and 10 ml lime juice: Both very tasty, but I prefer the version with 10 ml lime - very fresh!

Made a little detour. I smoked the glasses with some Monte Cristo cigar tobacco. WOW! will defiantly try this with other drinks also. The drink itself is very good, slight sweet from vermouth, but very tasty!!
