We made this martini with Old Tom Gin. It is tad on sweet side but works well with the Absinthe and Star Anise. Its a lovely Martini, a keeper

Used a very light flavoured lavender syrup and Blanco Vermouth. Very smooth but missing the lavender flavour. Will definitely try it again.
A very Whisky flavoured drink. The bitters compliment the whisky, while the vermouth tames the whisky bite. Did not use the celery bitters, but orange peel worked very nice.
Very nice cocktail even with out the short bread. The Benedictine adds another flavourful layer to the cocktail.
Appealing to the eye, a little sweet even with the lemon taking down the sweetness. Still an enjoyable sip!

Made a little detour. I smoked the glasses with some Monte Cristo cigar tobacco. WOW! will defiantly try this with other drinks also. The drink itself is very good, slight sweet from vermouth, but very tasty!!

Very nice Manhattan. Used a little less Rosso Sweet Vermouth then called for as I didn't want too sweet of a Manhattan. Definitely will make it again. Would give it 9.23/10
