Review:

Tequila and lavender are a match made in heaven, made more complex with herbal wine notes from the vermouth and aromatised by delicately fruity maraschino cherry. Dilution is so key to this cocktail that please consider serving on-the-rocks.

Tequila and lavender go so beautifully together. Didn't have any lavender bitters so I used Bob's Margarita bitters and it worked great. The drink is slightly too sweet for me but if you add a couple of drops of bitters it's just right. I do agree that this should be served on the rocks. It deserves to have it's time in the glass.

This truly is an elegant cocktail. Beautifully poised. We wouldn't have it without the bitters.

Worked with more Lavender Tincture and no additional sugar syrup, that way, with Antica Formula it worked out really well for me in case of the lvl of sweetness. Very nice fusion of flavours!

Perfect tequila aperitif. We felt the lavender bitters were a must to balance the cocktail. Wonderful, almost herbal, peppery flavour. Thanks Simon. Your cocktails are spot on.

I feel like this is too sweet with the Maraschino liquer and the lavender syrup. Will try with a dry vermouth next time.

Made this but without the lavender bitters. This made little difference as there was still a very pronounced lavender taste. A very average cocktail.

Used a very light flavoured lavender syrup and Blanco Vermouth. Very smooth but missing the lavender flavour. Will definitely try it again.

Sipping this right now, I have made this a couple of times before. I think this is one of the best tequila based cocktails, I find there are not that many to chose from to suit my tastes, am more of bourbon and/or cognac girl. I added a tiny drop of cherry bitters.
