I bit the bullet and tried it. I could have gotten a similar result from scooping my bath water.

I just made the Savoy version from the book are use the Bohemian La fee. The result was thin.

Imagine a very thin custard that tastes of aniseed. It’s not bad, but I could do without the lingering aniseed taste afterwards.

I've adapted Craddock's recipe but it's a cocktail that's beyond redemption. That is unless I'm missing something?

If booze weren't as expensive as it was, I'd try this once just to see how horrible it truly is.

I really want to try this to see how bad it is but at the same time I don't want to waste my valuable booze!
