We love a sour but this was too sour for our taste. Perhaps the honey we use (Leatherwood) is a walk on the mild side. We increased the honey syrup to 30ml...better for us.

The Oaxacanite is a refined evolution of the margarita, offering nuanced layers beyond the classic salt-rimmed standard. Its subtle natural salinity enhances the earthy and citrus notes, creating a balanced profile perfect for pairing with authentic Mexican cuisine.

Suprised how this tasted more of grapefruit than lime. All the flavors merged rather nicely. Thirtysix drops of Angostura was perfect. ♥︎

Thirtysix drops of Angostura? Really?

This was absolutely fantastic. One of the best cocktails I've ever made. Ricci Valldejuli's comment hits the nail on the head.

I know it is a simple template but it is such an easy cocktail to like! Sometimes simple things are all you need.

Smoky mezcal, an agave bomb tequila with an herbaceous honey made for an unbelievable result.

Exquisite. Better with Bavarian alpine honey than local English, after several trials.
