Remade, and to spec. Wonderful richness and depth of flavours. The delicate aromatics and vanilla of thy abbots bitters are beautifully balanced.

I did have Antica and Noilly Prat on hand, but I made this with Old Forester rye and Fee Bros OF bitters. I'd have to agree with John H, this has a degree of booziness to it... Jim Beam rye has a distinct, mellow flavor. But I'm wondering if it would help tone down the booze in this.

Does “one dash” = one drop, since bob’s abbots bitters comes with a dropper?

I'd use a generous 12 drops of Abbotts. I've amended above.

Delightful blending of rye and the two vermouths. Slightly boozy, but in a good way. Perfect aperitif. Flavourful and easy to make. One of those great, simple cocktails.
