Oh that is a cool drink! A lot of flavours and depth. The absinthe is genius, keeping it all afloat with the Calvados. The rums are obviously the body of this concoction, without ever overpowering or dominating the palate. The orange bitters serve as a nice, uplifting accent.

Ditto previous comments. Dilute appropriately and good long stir. Real depth of flavour. I added an extra spritz of orange bitters over the top.

As Simon notes, very much in the manner of an old fashioned, with corresponding sweetness, booziness and depth of flavour.

Yep, on the sweet side but really layered with flavors. Worked nice with a smoke generator I use once in a very great while.

I agree with the notes about the sweetness, but anyway, this is absolutely delicious

This is a great after dinner drink. It is a bit sweet may cut back on the maple syrup and DOM. Overall very good. Does get better the longer it sits.
