I would have never thought of Speyside and tequila reposado together but it works surprisingly well. Simply beautiful.

Great mixture of flavours. A hint of smoky and herbal. Not sweet, but perfect as a cocktail alone or with hors d'oeuvres.

I used budget ingredients and produced a five star cocktail. With quality ingredients this is surely 5+. Elegant in it's simplicity and complexity.

Thanks for the response! Ok, I was wondering if you had substituted for something other than a single malt. I might try a mild Scotch.

Greetings Marcus. I believe it was Glen Fohdry 12yr Speyside, a Total Wine Spirits Direct selection.
