We had high hopes for this one, but it was a bit sweet and a little flat. Putting it on the rocks helped as did a few drops of Difford's Margarita Bitters. The cassis seems to fight a bit with the tequila. Was OK, but not one I would do again.
Very happy to see this while looking for ways beside Kir Royale to use our Cassis de Dijon. We've been numerous times to Rancho de Chimayo in Northern New Mexico, and this is their signature drink; also served at Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe. Anyway, now I have a recipe to try. Thanks! I'll comment on the results whenever I get around to trying.
