I had a third bottle of Sauvingnon Blanc left over and a fresh white peach. Did 2/3 oz of the other ingredients, added the Sauvingnon Blanc and stirred. Poured into a large wine glass and added slices of the fresh peaches. Wonderful.
Delicate, floral aperitif, lovely to sip very cold. I’d consider shorting the maraschino, but that’s just my preference for something a little less sweet. I used a dry, unoaked Chardonnay and it worked well in this recipe.
Very nice. the eau-de-vie adds a nice touch and the Maraschino adds a touch of cherry and some sweetness. Very easy to drink. Would be perfect as an afternoon or evening sipper.
