To our taste, there is something seriously wrong with this. Perhaps it's the fussy kaleidoscope of rums. And the prosecco, at its specified volume seemed very lost. So we halved the pineapple juice and doubled the prosecco. Better for us but not compelling. btw after two of these we passed Simon's pronunciation test...just!
something seems missing ? imbalanced ? not enough acidity ? missing spice and complexity ? Yea that was my thought .. here is the fix: ADD an additional 22.5ml of lime and 20 ml falernum.
Being BIG rum drinkers really, really loved this. Went perfectly with a Hawaiian noodle supper. The prosecco add a hint of effervescences. Next time would probably add a float of 151 just to kick it up a notch.
