I think this might break depending on your green mint liqueur. I used De Kuyper's and it mainly tasted as eating or drinking something right after brushing your teeth. It was a minty feeling with off flavours surrounding it. Not a fan, but will try it next year with Giffard's.

The splash of soda is great though! Forgot to mention that, it absolutely helps the drink overall and should not be ignored.

Made it today (St. Patrick's Day) only because it's green and ended up enjoying it a lot! The Irish whiskey makes a lot of sense here, rounding out the freshness of the other ingredients. I don't see this cocktail working as well with scotch or bourbon. Would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something ludic and tasty to celebrate.

Fantastic cocktail! I threw a few mint leaves into the shaker and fine strained.

Finishing out St. Patrick's Day in San Diego, we had this as our digestive. It was perfect. Wonderfully herbal with just the right sweetness. Highly enjoyable.

Happy Saint Patrick's day. This was the cocktail I already chose for tonight. Today we are going to a big big Saint Patrick's day party hosted by a restaurant (Irish guy running it) up in the mountains 2222m in altitude

Cheers, Nathalie. I'm now also sipping on one but in a far less lofty location. It's a cleansing cocktail!

Tried this tonight. Exceptionally balanced, the chartreuse is dominat but not unbalanced. The soda water really brings it all together.
