I made this and maybe didn’t use a mellow enough brandy, but it tasted a little harsh prior to adding a twist of lemon. Perhaps a little simple syrup or vermouth could tie it together a tad more.

This is very nice. Subtle pear flavour and quite pleasant. Great with a nice sharp cheddar cheese (we used Red Leicester cheese).

I made this and added a dash of toasted almond bitters. Very nice. Pear and almond danish!

Didn’t have any Xante so doubled the Poire William and added a couple of dashes of orange bitters and I can’t believe the original tastes any nicer.
