Ingredients:
1 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
12 oz Belle de Brillet pear liqueur
12 oz Poire William eau-de-vie
1 oz Pear juice (freshly pressed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of pear wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with pear wedge on rim.

Review:

Despite the "no missus" Frankie Howerd-like, English seaside postcard humour name, this is a very tasteful cocktail – pear and cognac is a delicious flavour combination.

This is very nice. Subtle pear flavour and quite pleasant. Great with a nice sharp cheddar cheese (we used Red Leicester cheese).

I made this and added a dash of toasted almond bitters. Very nice. Pear and almond danish!

Didn’t have any Xante so doubled the Poire William and added a couple of dashes of orange bitters and I can’t believe the original tastes any nicer.
