This is damn well balanced. One of the few drinks I've tasted so far with orgeat where it doesn't steal the show and teh overall drink is not that sweet in general. Just tied in very nicely.

Was a bit tart at first, perhaps my lemons. Added

In a world over-brimming with 'look at me!' cocktails (Exhibit A: the fake, dud Pornstar Martini) this is a very welcome relief. Perfectly simple, beautifully balanced and charmingly modest. Bravo.

Delicious, luckily the combination of my ingredients produced a very balanced cocktail. For a regular Nick&Nora it is IMHO a very small cocktail.

Short, simple, smooth. I definitely got plenty of almond but not enough to make it an almond sour. Very nice.

This was very nice, but found the almond flavour a bit light. Was still a very pleasant cocktail. Did try adding about 1/4 oz of amaretto and the almond flavour was much more pronounced. Adding the amaretto did make the cocktail a bit sweeter, but perfect for after dinner or in the evening.
