This is damn well balanced. One of the few drinks I've tasted so far with orgeat where it doesn't steal the show and teh overall drink is not that sweet in general. Just tied in very nicely.

Thsi should be categorized as a blanco vermouth. It is not dry
Found this way too sweet. Pretty much only tasted liek sugar to me. Added 15ml more bourbon to the finished drink and found it too sweet still.
Sounds promising. Also beautiful glass! Where do I get one?
Found this way to sweet, will try with 15ml maple syrup and without the simple syrup next
This has too much citrus imo, maraschino is barely noticeable (which iÍ thought impossible). It wasn't bad by any metric, but the whole time sipping it I thought of things that could be improved
Kind of a Margarita/Cosmo hybrid I'D say. Pretty good, less dry than a regular cosmo
This just did not work for me. No flavor at all from the orange and grand marnier. Tasted like watered down bourbon, and I did omit the water.
Same here. Quite bitter aswell. Did not enjoy this
Wouldn't know that this adds much to plain cranberry juice tastewise, but tasty nonetheless
I did not expect this to be this good. Made it with Galliano coffee liqueur and a cheap (but well made) supermarket whiskey and it was amazingly balanced.
Great Espresso Martini alternative for those who don't own an espresso machine.
Will be trying with different whiskeys as the comments here suggest.
I think this would be ore appropriately placed in the red bitter category no? Very delicious indeed
I made this today (foudn Simon's Adaptation of this Recipe) and actually made it with Dolin and Pitu aswell, just a different Aperitivo (Mionetto). However I didn't quite like the Pitu in it. Gonna have to try again with a better Cachaca
Yes, the classic recipe calls for just "Rum, Cola and Lime". But a single dash of Angostura bitters adds a much welcome layer of complexity to it if using light rum. Though I don't find it particularly necessary if using Havana Club Especial or Bacardi 4 años for example.
I actually think the Angostura is especially helpful when using a very sweet rum like Havana Club Especial
Oh my lord this is good. Made it with Vecchia Romagna since I don't have any Cognac at home and with elderflower syrup instead of simple syrup, plain and simple because I reached for the wrong bottle. Sweeter than expected but very very well balanced nonetheless.
Made this with Dolin Blanc and Sarti instead of a red bitter. Sure is pink now, and definitely something else! Not necessarily better than a standard Negroni but worth to be tasted!
This was pretty lacking. To sweet, to full bodied and no acidity to balance it out. Added about 10ml of lemon juice and a dash of orange bitters, which made it quite enjoyable.
Super refreshing and quite interesting drink. I recommend not stirring after adding the sparkling wine as to create a sort of layered drink that starts very wine-heavy and progresses as you sip, leaving you with almond and cherry dominating at the end. And a lot of fun stops inbetween of course

This is a lovely bourbon cocktail that grows on you as you drink it.
However mine turned out bright pink using the directed 5ml of Monin Grenadine.
Mine too! Also dependend on whether the Triple-Sec used is colored or clear. I used presumably heavy colored grenadine and (clear) Cointreau. Not complaining about the color though, looks pretty sweet imo
Tastes very nice, once tried it with gold (can also use overripe green) kiwis and lemon instead of lime, also a treat!
Wouldn't put this in the "bittersweet aperitivo" category, its really has no bitterness at all. Just a warm, honey-like sweetness. Tastes like heaven though!
Made this with Havana Club Especial and agave syrup (you can substitute 1:1) as 3:1 honey syrup and agave syrup should both have around 77 brix.
Tastes amazing and is made in absolutely no time at all!
