I only had carpano for the Rosso vermouth, which was definitely overkill here. But an excellent cocktail nonetheless. Go easy on the bitters too.

A fairly mild, orange forward, dry cocktail. Good cocktail, but not overwhelming.

Wonderfully balanced. Herbal with a hint of orange and not sweet. A perfect aperitif.

I've just reformulated with Dry Curacao as this seems to sit better with the gin. Thanks for the nudge.
