I used Fortaleza Blanco and added a dash (~10 drops - I know that’s a lot) of Bob’s Margarita Bitters. Nice and balanced, to my palate at least. White pepper and turmeric up top, agave in the middle, melon richness in the low-mids. Next time, I’m trying Max Bul’s cucumber suggestion!
Bittersweet in the most accurate sense of the word. Not super complex but still a nice sipper. The tequila is pretty subdued but it still plays some high notes with pepper and agave. I think I'd rather drink it on a big cube of ice, though, so the sweetness doesn't become too much over time.
At the first sip I really didn’t know what to make of this unusual flavour combination, but it really grew on me as it went down. I can’t think of anything like it. The sweet midori and bitter suze are really well balanced. Really interesting and a beautiful colour too.
