"My cocktail with Ketel One is the grouping of several recipes taken from kol-mena, a platform created to collect original preps created with ingredients that would normally be discarded at the bar. We want to show that World Class cocktails can be made with the information in kol-mena and share the original way that many have to make the most of the raw material.

There are several ways in which this initiative will help the community:

  • We will be able to see how the waste generated in the bars will progressively decrease.
  • People from the industry will have more contact, meaning more ideas that will accelerate the initiative's growth.
  • The new generations will have access to information which represents education and the possibility of creating more sophisticated ideas."

Ice: No ice

Ingredients:
50ml Ketel One Family-Made Vodka
7.5ml Mandarin lime preserves
2.5ml Ginger bitters

To make Mandarin lime preserves:
1000g mandarin lime peel
500g white sugar
300 ml fruits vinegar
20g tajin
25g black pepper
10g sweet pepper
5g salt
5g citric acid

Reserve all the ingredients in a canning container, mix and leave at room temperature for 24 hours, then filter and refrigerate.

To make Caramelized ginger slice:
Peel and chop the ginger into long slices, cook with sugar until caramelised
