"Life at sea can be challenging in ways that bartending on land isn't - new environments, diverse crews, and constantly changing passengers. I saw an opportunity to bridge these gaps and bring bartenders from various ships together with each other and their guests, to strengthen bonds across communities across leagues of sea.
Introducing the Chart Your Course Cocktail Kit. Given to a bartender transferring to a new ship, it contains everything that they need to create a community between their new team and their old.
Inside, you'll find all of the ingredients you need for connection at sea. First up, Leave Your Legasea. Whilst this may look like a note in a bottle, it's actually dehydrated orange liqueur with a blends of acids and sweeteners. To stabilize the ingredients, they're dehydrated into granules. Simply add Ketel One, a splash of water, and shake.
Next up, a recipe book for every member of the new ship's team to include their own favourite recipe featuring Ketel One Vodka. These recipes also serve as inspiration to share with their guests when it comes to creating bespoke Ketel One cocktails.
Since launching, we have impacted upon 5355 guests across three ships & two continents, and connected 467 bar team members across multiple time zones. World Class isn't just a showdown - it's a testimony to the power of collaboration, nurtured by the bonds formed through the Leave Your Legasea cocktail. Here's to Ketel One, for recognising that the joy of mixing drinks extends beyond just the ingredients."

Leave Your Legasea
Glass: Whatever you have to hand - be it a mug or a rocks
Garnish: Dehydrated Lime
Take the dehydrated lime that's inside the Chart Your Course Cocktail Kit, and garnish however you please.
Method: Take the glass bottle and empty all ingredients into a shaker. Add 130ml of water and stir to combine until everything has dissolved. Add 65ml of Ketel One Family-Made Vodka, add cubed ice, and wet shake. Single strain into the glass of your choosing, ice up, and enjoy at Crew Bar.
Ice: Cubed
Ingredients:
65 ml Ketel One Family-Made Vodka
40 g Dehydrated Cointreau
3 g Citric & Tartaric Acid blend
40 Cranberry & lemon sugar crystals
1 g Desiccated dried sage
1 g Dried rosemary sprig
1 g Salt
130ml Filtered water
Preparation:
Introduce 600ml of orange triple sec liqueur into silicone cupcake moulds. Add into the oven at 170f for 14 hours. Remove the mixture and grind it in a mortar and pestle until the clumps are out of the liquid. Weighing all ingredients, introduce all solids into a sterilised glass bottle and seal. Add the glass bottle into the Chart Your Course Cocktail Kit, sign a personalised recipe into the Ketel One notebook, and give to a friend that's transferring ships across the sea.
