"Growing up surrounded by mountains and the sea, I've always wanted to make a positive impact on the land that nurtured me, using a method that resonates with my interests. I proposed the "Green's Blue Cycle Project" , which involves exchanging cocktails for recycled glass
waste.
Green's Blue Cycle Project
Collaborating with the local community-driven coastal cleanup organization, Hiin Studio, known for their ongoing beach conservation efforts. They provide the glass waste, which I then transform into a form of sea token.
Designing 4 Ketel One cocktails utilizing surplus ingredients. Three are event cocktails. The fourth is the competition cocktail: Summer Bay. With every order of an event cocktail, customers are given a sea token. Collecting three sea tokens allows them to redeem Summer Bay.
Donating 10% of the event's revenue to the collaborative association of Hiin Studio.
I hope to continue our collaboration in diverse ways in the future, such as co-hosting beach cleanup events.
Through this project, I aspire to introduce consumers to the possibilities of Ketel One flavor creations through cocktails, address the ocean waste issue, and showcase the utilization of local fruits.
By broadening the impact of my efforts, my goal is to make a modest contribution to the improvement of our ocean.

Summer Bay
Glass: Wine glass
Garnish: Pickled rind
Method: 1. Put all the ingredients into the shaker, add ice, and shake. Then strain the ice, pour the liquid into the glass.
2. Put pickled rind on a recycled oyster shell.
Ingredients:
30ml Ketel One Family Made Vodka
40ml Summer Breeze Cordial
15ml Summer Spirit
To make Summer Breeze Cordial:
Remove the rind and skin from a whole watermelon, then place the fruit in a juicer to extract the juice. Pass the juice through a fine strainer and collect the filtered pulp, rind, and skin.
Ingredients:
- 1000g Watermelon Juice
- 150g Demerara Sugar
- 150g Jasmine Liqueur
- 10g Olive Brine
- 8g Acid Solution (Water : Citric Acid = 16 : 1 (g))
Thoroughly mix the above ingredients together.
To make Summer Spirit:
Combine:
- 600g Watermelon Skin
- 600g Ketel One Vodka
- All the collected fruit pulp
To make Pickled Rind garnish:
Pickling Liquid:
100ml Bonito Soy Sauce
500ml Water
10g Ginger
5g White Vinegar
Bring the pickling liquid to a boil and let it cool. Cut the watermelon rind into suitable sizes and place them in the pickling liquid. Store the mixture in a refrigerated refrigerator for 24 hours.
