In the post-pandemic era, Taiwan, well known as the "Fruit Kingdom" in Asia, has faced a crisis due to export restrictions and overproduction of fruits, leading to a huge impact on the agriculture industry. The MECA Project is aimed to combine two important communities to support our local agriculture business:
1. Farms, including official agri-business, corporates, and private farmers
2. The beverage industry (i.e. Bars, Bistros, Cafes, etc.),
With the power of the internet and data integration, we are able to monitor information of overproduced fruits instantly and use them to create amazing drinks and deliver to consumers collaborating with the beverage industry.
The first cocktail in this project is called "Palette #One", leveraging overproduced pineapples in Taiwan.
Ketel One Vodka, spicy pineapple cordial and earthy-taste liqueur. The recipe can be easily replicated across the Taiwanese bartending community. Besides, it's also good for putting into bottles to be the RTD product for to-go business and the other shops without professional equipment.
Palette "#One" represents that the MECA Project will keep creating more and more cocktails with different overproduced fruits to support our communities comprehensively and raise awareness of customers around the issue.
We also encourage involved bartenders to create their signature with pineapples or other overproduced fruits in the future.
With these beautiful and colorful fruits, we try harder and harder to Make Earth Colorful Again in this "Pandemic Dark Age".

Palette #One
Glass: Nude Finesse rock glass with rock ice
Garnish: Taiwan local pineapple cake
Method: Stir all ingredients with cubed ice for 20 seconds.
Ingredients:
50ml Cold Brew Tea Ketel One
30ml Spice Tea Cordial
15ml Pineapple Vinegar
5ml Burdock Frangelico
Cold Brew Tea Ketel One
- Vacuum pack all ingredients in a bag.
- Leave to infuse for 4 hours at room temperature.
- Clarify using a coffee filter. - 400ml Ketel One Family Made Vodka
- 15g Oolong tea leaf
- 40g Dried pineapple
Spice Tea Cordial
- Place the following ingredients into 1 litre of boiling water.
- Remove from heat and leave to stand still for 30 minutes.
- Use a coffee filter to clarify, you can get "Spice Tea Soup." - 40g / Oolong tea leaf
- Blend in the following proportion to produce "Spice Tea Cordial." - 100g Spice Tea Soup
- 8g Taiwanese Maqaw
- 10g Cumin
- 10g Green cardamom
- 65g Demerara sugar
- 0.8g Citrus acid
- 2g / Malic Acid
Pineapple Vinegar
- Blend all ingredients and make sure the acid powder is dissolved. - 100ml Pineapple (juiced and clarified using a centrifugal juicer)
- 5g White wine vinegar
- 2.5g Citric acid
- 1g Malic acid
Burdock Frangelico
- Vacuum pack all ingredients in a bag.
- Leave to infuse at room temperature for 4 hours.
- Clarify using a coffee filter. 200ml Frangelico liqueur
