Serve in a

Coupe glass

Garnish:

Luxardo maraschino cherry dropped in the bottom before pouring.

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker. DRY SHAKE and fine strain into chilled glass.

1 3/4 fl oz Monkey 47 gin
1 fl oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
1/2 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1/2 fl oz Monin Orgeat syrup
1 dash (4 drops) Angostura Aromatic Bitters
1/2 fl oz Egg white

Notes:

Boozy, yet sweet, with a fragrant maraschino musk. Tart with a syrupy frangipane haze.

Origin:

I tried a cherry 'martini' in bar and decided I could do better. Here it is.
