I tried substituting Falernum for the syrup, and it turned out very well. Would recommend.

The flavour of this oddball mixture is one of the more unusual things I've tried. Makes me think of orange-licorice candy.

Just got my first ever bottle of Luxardo Maraschino and I could think of no better cocktail to crack it open for than this.
Strong and rummy with citrus and cherry. Perfect for sipping on a hot June evening.

I didn't have any bourbon handy, so I used Busker Irish instead. Turned out very nicely.
