The Difford's formulation is nice but a bit too sweet at 2200hrs on a work night.
• 1½ oz Beefeater London Dry Gin
• ¾ oz Dolin Dry Vermouth de Chambéry
• ¼ oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
• 2 dashes Dillon's orange bitters

Excellent cocktail! I added a dash of Dillon's Orange Bitters, which added another layer to the Montenegro.
Just tried Jamie's version. Quite tasty. Who stole my honey and replaced it with suger water? Actually it was quite goog.

This was excellent. I used Teacher's Highland Cream. I considered adding a barspoon of Laphroaig 10 but decided that the Teacher's would be fine. I also used Dolin's Rouge.
