Bourbon whiskey, Chocolate bitters, Cherry syrup
Mrs. Hanley says it's a nicely balance drink (and I agree, cause .... well, it is)
Very enjoyable. On a whim, I added a dash of chocolate bitters. It added an extra subtle depth to an otherwise fine sipper of a cocktail.
I made this to spec, but found it very bourbony (I did use a 100 proof bourbon) and couldn't catch a hint of peach. So I added another portion of schnapps (doubling the original), and it worked nicely (the sugar also helped (as a couple of other comments noted).
Please come to Boston for the Springtime (and Summer and Fall and Winter). Wow! wonderfully fruity and refreshing. Well balanced.
Did the recipe actually call for white balsamic? Traditional balsamic gives it a cola color (and an barely acceptable taste).
I dunno ... for some reason when I finish this, I want to begin all over again!
I used Fee Brothers Fee Foam Cocktail Foamer in place of the egg white. It worked wonderfully. Nice cocktail. It will definitely be revisited.
