Ingredients:
1 23 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
23 oz Savoia Americano Rosso
12 oz Lustau Jarana Fino Sherry
13 oz Monin Ginger Syrup
13 oz Filter coffee (hot)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Although only a small proportion of this cocktail, the coffee you use greatly influences its flavour. It doesn't work with espresso but does work brilliantly with the right filter coffee. I used The Lost Barn Whispering Wind dripped through a V60.

Used Lillet Rouge for this drink. Does not really taste ginger, although I used homemade one. That might be the reason. It is a nice gin cocktail.
