Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

I think it's the Dubonnet which lifts this to a really great drink but like Alan suggests increasing some ingredients makes it even more palatable

Was undecided if I wanted to try this as it looked a bit on the sweet side. We were surprised by the final cocktail. While there is sweetness to the cocktail, it is acceptable to this dry cocktail drinker. The sherry is a distinctive and all the herbals work well together.

I enjoyed this, but it is much more to my taste if the gin is upped to 45ml and the Grand Marnier to 30ml
