By far the easiest way to make this (or any other strawberry cocktail is to prepare in advance, muddle the strawberries well and dry shake and leave in a sieve over a jug. A bit later shake with ice and fine strain and you won't have to deal with all the strawberry pulp - magic (as is this cocktail)

Wonderful. Made to the recipe and it was perfect. A tad sweet for me, but I think that would also depend on the sweetness of the strawberries. Bright strawberry flavour.

I thought the other commenter's idea of a splash of lime was a good one, however after trying it I felt it detracted from the strawberries. My solution is an expressed lime zest which brings that lovely aroma while keeping the drink unequivocally strawberry forward. A dash of saline also definitely doesn't hurt.

Great, but added 1 cl freshly squeezed lime juice the second time, which completed it

Great success. Vodka retains and preserves the delicate fragrance of fresh strawberries. Use the best strawberries that you can put your hands on, it's worth it.

This is lovely, I think it would have been good with a little bit of basil too, I might try adding it next time
