Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Vodka
12 oz Sour apple liqueur
2 12 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
14 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Grenadine Syrup
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Apple slice

How to make:

SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass. Slowly DRIZZLE grenadine so it sinks to form the red base.

That's another Washington Apple cocktail. This one was created by Wayne Collins in the late 1990s - early 2000s.

I've added 1/2 shot of lime juice, and reduced the vodka to 1 1/2 shot, I think still a lovely drink for an evening

Agreed, works well with a touch less vodka and a splash more lime. To answer Debbie's question, this cocktail is only sweet if you drink the red base, or stir it to integrate with the rest of the cocktail. I've added our sweetness scale with a view to not finishing all this cocktail.
