1 fl oz Liquore Strega
1/2 fl oz Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
3/4 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. Garnish with skewered cherry.

This is an excellent drink. Sweet, but it doesn’t overwhelm my taste buds. I used a much cheaper creme de banana because it’s all I had, but I wasn’t disappointed at all. The Strega and Pisco blend well!

Banana killed everything else. No pisco, no tang, no strega. Rename Golden Banana?

Hmm, I just remade it and I thought the flavors of each ingredient were quite balanced. If anything, I get more Strega than banana. Did you use Banane du Bresil? I can imagine an artificial banana liqueur being overpowering.
