This is a wonderful concoction of liquor with good balance.
This is a nice drink. Sweet but balanced.
Maybe try it with brown butter fat wash. Actually quite good
Very sweet. It taste like pears
I will cut the rose water in half. Otherwise, it tends to cover everything. Might just be the rose water I have.
Its a new product from Fee Brothers that was released June 1st (that was the release in the States anyways). You should be able to get them from a rep that deals with Fee Brothers products. I haven't seen them in the wild in retail yet. I've see 3 types so far: Bacon,Roasted Duck, and Browned Butter.
Great info! Thanks so much!
Where does one obtain roasted duck fat wash if you aren’t in England, which, having lived there 15 years in the service, I admit I never came across this fine ingredient??
Wow, really good. The photo has me a bit confused as the recipe calls for an ice-filled glass. No worries, I did use an ice-filled glass and I love this recipe!
Wow, that’s good!
A very floral martini.
This is unhinged goodness.
I found this mostly medicine like due to the sloe gin. Really wasn’t impressed with this. I don’t know what would fix it for me, so my comment is pretty useless.
I had very good results with this recipe. Heavy handed muddling of the ginger and mint were key. Lovely, spicy, and fresh.
I had good results with this die to heavy handed muddling. The flavors burst through for a spicy, sweet, and fresh drink.
A bit too sweet for my liking
Delicious. Reminds me of hot summer days doing the gardening. The cucumber and mint really shine through (especially with heavy handed muddling). Another favorite!
This is elegantly sour and delicious. All I had available was vanilla infused simple syrup, so I used that and I don’t think it changed the flavor much. I don’t know because I’ve made it only once, but it was tasty.
This really is an exceptional drink. No wonder it’s so popular. I love the minty freshness it adds to the cola, along with the herbal. A great match.
I will have to add more ginger liqueur to give this anything other than mediocre. It’s too heavy on rye and bourbon, unless that’s your thing. I’m personally of the belief that if it’s more than bourbon and rye , it should taste that way. I was not impressed with this blend.
Wow, really delicious and now one of my favorites. Everything blends so well.!
Great drink. Dessert in a glass. Perfectly sweet for its name. Everything was balanced. Lovely coctkail for after dinner.
I’m glad I tried this. I have bought a lot of liquor to make and try many drinks that I’ve never tried. It’s nice learning all the flavors and chemistry. I find the Ouzo tends to dominate in this, either intended or not. I will cut back on it next time, but I’m going to enjoy this one now.
I love the basil, but found the Grappa on the heavy side. I’m not an expert by any means, but I’ve tried other drinks with fresh basil that I like much more. I’m still getting used to grappa, but this is a good drink.
I loved this drink. Definitely a repeat cocktail. Just the right tart ess and sweetness.
