This is unhinged goodness.
This is unhinged goodness.
I found this mostly medicine like due to the sloe gin. Really wasn’t impressed with this. I don’t know what would fix it for me, so my comment is pretty useless.
I had very good results with this recipe. Heavy handed muddling of the ginger and mint were key. Lovely, spicy, and fresh.
I had good results with this die to heavy handed muddling. The flavors burst through for a spicy, sweet, and fresh drink.
A bit too sweet for my liking
Delicious. Reminds me of hot summer days doing the gardening. The cucumber and mint really shine through (especially with heavy handed muddling). Another favorite!
This is elegantly sour and delicious. All I had available was vanilla infused simple syrup, so I used that and I don’t think it changed the flavor much. I don’t know because I’ve made it only once, but it was tasty.
This really is an exceptional drink. No wonder it’s so popular. I love the minty freshness it adds to the cola, along with the herbal. A great match.
I will have to add more ginger liqueur to give this anything other than mediocre. It’s too heavy on rye and bourbon, unless that’s your thing. I’m personally of the belief that if it’s more than bourbon and rye , it should taste that way. I was not impressed with this blend.
Wow, really delicious and now one of my favorites. Everything blends so well.!
Great drink. Dessert in a glass. Perfectly sweet for its name. Everything was balanced. Lovely coctkail for after dinner.
I’m glad I tried this. I have bought a lot of liquor to make and try many drinks that I’ve never tried. It’s nice learning all the flavors and chemistry. I find the Ouzo tends to dominate in this, either intended or not. I will cut back on it next time, but I’m going to enjoy this one now.
I love the basil, but found the Grappa on the heavy side. I’m not an expert by any means, but I’ve tried other drinks with fresh basil that I like much more. I’m still getting used to grappa, but this is a good drink.
I loved this drink. Definitely a repeat cocktail. Just the right tart ess and sweetness.
Smooth but not stand outish. Many flavors blend well. A good drink and I’ll make it again. I may modify this one slightly.
I liked this and would try it with the bitters if I had them, but I found it enjoyable.
Tart and fruity. I used Bison grass vodka as well. I added an additional 2.5 ml of simple syrup. I guess my blackberries were extra tart.
I love this. My wife loves this. What an outstanding concoction. Super 5+
I took a sip of this before adding the club soda, and I much preferred that. Adding the club soda, in my opinion, diminishes the drink. It isn’t bad either way. I found the drink refreshing and cookie like, but not overly sweet.
Fruity, but not really unique. Not overly sweet, but I’m not finding anything special here. Ginger beer stands out. I wasn’t impressed, but it’s all a matter of taste.
I love the meddling of cucumber and mint. So delicious. I can’t think of anything that would improve this except more cucumber and mint!
Unique and beautiful.
I love a tequila expresso martini, and this really steps it up a notch. With fresh-brewed espresso it’s great. Vanilla vodka might round it out but it’s perfect as is.
A good drink with sweetness. I added 1/4 ounce of grenadine, and it tastes like a Jolly Rancher candy. It’s a fin drink and could be used with many “candy” variations ( i.e sour apple, ginger, butterscotch). I quite like this.
