Ingredients
1 whole Maraschino cherry (from jar in syrup)
2 fl oz Canadian blended whisky
1 barspoon Orange marmalade
1/4 fl oz Ginger liqueur
1/2 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters

How to make

Glassware

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. RIM glass with cinnamon and sugar (moisten the outside edge with sugar syrup and dip into cinnamon powder).
  3. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. MUDDLE the cherry in base of shaker.
  2. Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Ummm... How much is one whole syrup from Luxardo maraschino cherries? I buy my cherries in a 72 ounce jar.

Hi Doug. Just one cherry and the syrup that coats it. I've corrected the way this appears.

Much sweeter then I thought it would be. The orange I used might have been the issue. Will not make again.
