Origin:

I created this drink for the Archers & Peachtree Cocktail Competition on Diffords Guide in October 2024.
I wanted to make a fun, desert style cocktail that showcased the bright sweet Peach notes of the Archers Liqueur. The classic Peach Melba dessert that I enjoyed as a child sprang to mind so I attempted to recreate the flavours. It took a few attempts to balance the Peach, Lemon, Vanilla and Raspberry flavours and I think I achieved it. The cocktail is on the sweet side but it is a desert cocktail after all!! If you don't have a sweet tooth then omit the sugar syrup.

Nutrition:

One serving of Peach Melba Sour contains 223 calories.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.1 standard drinks
  • 12.67% alc./vol. (25.34° proof)
  • 14.9 grams of pure alcohol
