History:

Percheron is a breed of muscular draft horse used for pulling heavy loads which originated in France's Huisne River valley, part of the former Perche province, from which the horse takes its name. Percheron is also the brand name of the South African Chenin Blanc and Viognier wine I used when I created this cocktail in November 2024.
