Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Blended Scotch whisky bacon fat washed
1 oz Disaronno amaretto
1 dash Whiskey barrel-aged bitters
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

How to make:

  1. FAT-WASH a bottle of peaty Scotch whisky with smoky bacon fat.
  2. POUR the now clarified smoky bacon-flavoured Scotch whisky and other ingredients into mixing glass.
  3. STIR with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

A classic Godfather with added subtle bacon flavours and faintly oily mouthfeel.

This is delightful and a wonderful use of the bacon washed scotch I made when I realized I was a little too low on bourbon. Cheers!
