Ingredients:
1 12 fl oz Bourbon whiskey
34 fl oz Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
13 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
12 fl oz Whipping cream chilled
1 fresh Egg yolk
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of dried banana chip.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain back into shaker.
  2. DRY SHAKE (without ice) and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with dried banana chip.

I love this drink. All the parts play nice together.

Loved this one, I usually go for cocktails with rum as the base if I’m using a banana liqueur, but the bourbon (I used Woodford Reserve) paired beautifully, definitely one to add to the repertoire.

It's really interesting how the rest of the ingredients bring out the chocolate notes from the bourbon in this one. It's like a banana chocolate cocktail and it's absolutely delicious.
