History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2017 by Daniel Seehuusen at Park in Göteborg, Sweden. Daniel's original recipe called for equal parts Suze, Eau de Vie de Poire de Normandie, and Cointreau. He named this cocktail after those three French ingredients: Suze, first presented at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1889, Cointreau from Angers, and Eau de Vie de Poir from Normandy, which when plotted on a map form a triangle.

Really lovely balance of sweet orchard fruit, aromatic citrus, and rooty fragrance.

Nice, vibrant yellow. Smooth and a bit syrupy mouthfeel. Suze gives strong earthy/vegetal background, but the Cointreau is the more prominent flavor. No clear flavor contribution from Poire William - likely helps extend the other components, complementing their flavors while not being notable itself. Really nice combo of Suze and Cointreau.

A yellow, yummy little gem. Rather unique taste, instant pleasure! I added a dash of lemon juice.
