Review:

Recipe supplied by Patrón Tequila, who say, "The Paseo Margarita's surprising mix of coconut and basil are a tribute to bartender Jacyara de Oliveira's journey from Brazil to Chicago. Patrón Silver brings together the best of both worlds, resulting in a sweet and herbal Margarita of the Year contender."

As far as I admitted, she uses Thai basil
Is it crucial for this recipe to substitute it for regular green basil leaves?

Sadly one of the very few cocktails on this site I've not made (hence lack of Difford's Guide rating at top of page). The two styles of basil are obviously quite different but I'd try making it with whichever basil you have to hand. Please let us know what you think after you've made it.

Please add basil as ingredient to the recipe. It appears in the video and is crucial to the success of the cocktail.
