Dehydrated banana peel
How to make:
THROW all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass.
Special ingredient #1: Banana peel syrup (Banana rind and water in a ratio of 1:2. Boil and reduce until desired consistency. Strain and store in an airtight container.)
|1 2/3 fl oz||Bacardi Gold rum|
|1/3 fl oz||Martini Rosso sweet vermouth|
|1 1/3 fl oz||*Special ingredient #1 (see above)|
|2 dash||Angostura Aromatic Bitters|
|2 dash||Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters|

It derives inspiration from the regional food in South India where the entire banana is cooked and consumed as a delicacy. It is also inspired from the ‘Good Spirited’ campaign by Bacardi which aims to reduce the company's environmental impact.”
