56 oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
56 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
14 oz Joseph Cartron Double Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne
16 oz Amaro (e.g. Averna)
2 dash Pear bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

I really liked the idea behind this cocktail.
I don't believe it holds up though, the mezcal and gin need a bridge to the Amaro and Cassis. My first instinct is a citrus, but not lemon or lime. Maybe fresh orange? Mint also seems like it would complement this grouping if muddled before the addition of the cassis and Amaro.
It's a good idea, but I think it needs workshop-ing.
