The latest edition of Patrón Perfectionists includes a new entry challenge to encourage bartenders to strive for their own level of perfection.
The global bartending program opened for entries on 1st July and closed on 30th September 2023.
The entry challenge and educational modules focus on the Patrón Margarita cocktail in the USA and the Patrón Paloma in the other 14 countries participating in the Patrón Perfectionists program and cocktail competition.
In the USA, bartenders will be asked to create a Patrón Silver-based Margarita inspired by their favourite global city. In the other 14 countries, bartenders were challenged to develop a Patrón Paloma featuring Patrón Reposado, plain soda water, a creative cordial inspired by their city of choice and with grapefruit in some form but flavoured as the bartender likes (with no limitations).
The USA will run four regional final events to select their four global finalists representing the various areas. In the other 14 countries, entrants were blind judged in each country, without knowing the bartender's name or their bar, to find the ten national finalists who will participate in their national final challenges.
Click on each nation to view the national finalists and their cocktails.
The global finalists emerging from the national challenges will fly to Hacienda Patrón in March 2024 for an experience-filled week. They will be joined by a panel of international mentors and judges.
