Glass:

Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
12 oz Chairman's Reserve Spiced Rum
12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Ketel One Vodka
12 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
1 23 oz Cola (e.g. Coca-Cola or Pepsi) chilled
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE first 7 ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring cola.

  1. Garnish with lime wedge.

It's better than a regular Long Island because of the spiced rum but that's about it. Glad I tried it, won't try it again.

I wanted to make this an even more Christmas inspired cocktail. So I swapped out the spiced rum for gingerbread rum, added marmalade vodka and orange gin, to boost the Christmas flavours. It worked to some degree but would be open to suggestions on a Christmas-y substitute for the cola though.
