History:

The Batida (meaning 'shake') is a traditional Brazilian drink and 'Abacaxi' means pineapple in Portuguese, the official language of Brazil.

Batida is a broad term for a drink usually containing fresh fruit, sugar and/or sweetened condensed milk (leite condensado). They are often blended with crushed ice or shaken and served over crushed ice.
