Orange zest twist (discarded) & white grapes
How to make:
MUDDLE kumquats in base of shaker. Add next three ingredients, shake and fine strain into a chilled glass. FLOAT wine.
|5 fresh||Kumquats (chopped)|
|1 1/2 fl oz||Bepi Tosolini Grappa di Moscato|
|1 1/4 fl oz||Fiorente Elderflower liqueur|
|1/4 fl oz||Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°brix)|
|1/4 fl oz||Merlot red wine|
Looks great and, with the citrus freshness of kumquat combined with the oily character of grappa, it also tastes great.
