Bright and Cheery
I used Roses grenadine to enhance the color, not for flavoring, and Lairds Applejack as the apple brandy, but I am sure calvados would be a good substitute.

I only added a bar spoon of sugar syrup as the Heering brings a lot of sweetness. It has forward notes of lime, like a daiquiri, with back notes of warming

Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less Velvet Falernum or Orgeat Syrup. Price: £18

I created this first using Glenfiddich 12 yo, but decided a more robust blended scotch with a slight hint of peaty smoke works best (e.g. Black Bottle).
