Living in San Diego, Tiki drinks were my first love. I have had drinks in Don the Beachcomber, Trader Vics, and Bali Hai. This is wonderful. Unique with the Rye (our rye is from Calfiornia at 118 proof). Great cocktail. Not too sweet. Perfect for summer.

WOW am soooo jealous, big fan of Tikis here and make a good few summer time. I have a fab collection of mugs for that

I shall be looking forward to trying it with the Rittenhouse then as it is part of my inventory. Being a Tiki cocktail fan I knew I would love it.

Made this at the weekend and very much liked it, however I didp push the Bourbon up to 60ml as it was the only spirit.

Agreed Nathalie. Or with 45ml of bottled-in-bond rye - what I meant to put in the recipe in the first place, as per my review above. Now corrected. Thanks for bringing to my attention.

I really like this but it is a tad too sweet. I´d use 10ml or even 5ml of the simple. Also I think you mixed up the Review and History segments ^^
